typically designed for single use & accounting for a huge amount of this nations waste, I wanted to create beauty out of what otherwise would be thrown away and explore American food culture through takeout design.

THROUGH THIS EXPLORATION i TURNED TAKEOUT INTO A PERSONAL RESTAURANT BRANDING PROJECT. takeoutS BRANDING uses my personal collection of VINTAGE AND MODERN takeout ephemera I’ve collected over the years (menus, napkins, posters, utensils, bags, stickers etc.) MIXED WITH HAND drawn elements and an edgy visual identity.

takeouts visual identity celebrates and combines themes of exotic, global flavors, experimental dining and the sensual side of the culinary world exploiting the erotic shapes, textures, colors of food and the emotions involved with the act of eating.
